Up all night trying to let you know
Your the reason why there is no pain to show
Your my gravity, your what holds me down
Nothing really matters when your around
For you, I would do anything at all
Burn down bridges, tear down your life's walls
But now, I see, I've started to fall
I try to fall softly but you've made me so tall
Up all night thinking I'm stupid again
You don't feel it now so I doubt you felt it then
We can't become an ' us ' if you don't know how I feel
So this is me telling you that my ' I love you ' is real
Ofcourse I can't say this to you, b/c like a little child, I'm scared
Scared that you won't feel the same way and my heart would just be teared
Teared into a million pieces and that, I couldn't bear
That would just be the end of ' us ', I would know that there's nothing there
Up all night trying to gain might
I haven't qot that far in school but I wanna teach you flight
Let me give you my wings, give you my sight
My love will keep you strong and keep you at a safe height
When you land I'll teach you how to love me
Since you have my sight you would finally see
Everything that I've ever wanted us to be
Maybe, JUST MAYBE, that would make me and you a ' we '
Up all night hoping you'll understand
Hoping you feel the same way so that you'll never let go of my hand
Snap it tight just like a rubberband
And walk w/ me on a beach w/ miles of sand
Please get, that this is me letting you know
That I want OUR love to be the love that grows
Continues growing, never slows
Let it bloom like the most beautiful rose
Up all night, feeling cleared
This is the one secret that I've kept for 2 years
I need to let you know that this is how I feel
I need to know that this could actually become real
I'm tired of dreaming, my thoughts of you run dry
Just tell me now that you'll hold my heart and try
I've wanted you forever, from every tear I cry
I need you now, until the day I die.
