Under The Surface Poem by Anna Turtle

Under The Surface

It seems so calm,
So calm and pleasant
On the surface.

But you never knows,
Knows what is down under
The calm waves.

It could hide anything,
Anything like a shark or monster
Or a sea snake.

It is so cold,
So cold and dark down there
Whit no light or warm.

You wont see,
See it coming trough the darkness
Of the deep ocean.

The death lives,
Lives down there in the darkness
Where no air or escape is.

But oh how I love,
Love to sail on the blue ocean
And feel the air in my hair.

This is somewhat like Japanese Renga, linkage of triplets with luscid phrases. Also the difficult task of subject-object synthesis is attempted and is done. I enjoyed reading the poem.
