Unborn Poem by Betty Kulawik

Unborn

Rating: 5.0

An unborn child I will not hear, cry,
Nor get to cradle and sing "Rock-a-Bye".
My womb is empty of a human soul,
Arms outstretched won't attain their goal.
The Lord has the answer--we question why.
The pain is immense, but I shall try,
Strive to overcome my loss and move ahead,
Til perhaps another soul fills the empty bed.
