The Judgement

As yet God’s grace is all around
For sheep who’ve gone astray
But soon God’s Spirit won’t be found
And then! “The Judgement Day”

God’s judgement starts within His church
His children understand
For righteousness we come in search
Within the Saviour’s hand

We seek God’s guidance when we pray
Receive our birth anew
Allowing Him to have His way
Is all we need to do

But those who play the fool with God
Won’t find His judgement sweet
If they won’t heed the Teacher’s Rod
They’ll walk the flaming street

When this we know our hearts can sing
Obedience is a song
Once learnt the foe will take to wing
For then we’ll do no wrong

Great is our God worthy of praise
What love He has to give
To know such love will guide our ways
Eternal days to live

No need for us to shun the Light
Or wear a gloomy frown
God’s judgement’s come to set us right
And not to put us down

Best fear The Lord, give Christ your all
With love, pledge God your trust
Then in the end we’ll never fall
For “GOD” is not unjust……
