Swing Poem by Charles Malcolm

Swing

I used to love nothing
more than wrapping chains
around a butterfly.

But you...

I want to stab
grappling hooks
through your wings
and cling
honestly
for once
to that frayed rope
and slide
all the way down
to the bitter end.

More than rapping chains. Wonderfully drafted poem shared really. Nicely drafted.
