Success And Failure Poem by David Harris

Success And Failure

Rating: 5.0

Someone once called me a failure
for the publications that I lacked,
but I think they were wrong,
Success is not how much money
or gold that you earn.
Success is how many friends
in your life can hold,
for they are more precious
than money or gold.
Friendship has no price tag,
it cannot be bought or sold
and it comes from a heart of gold.
Therefore, in the future
any friends you may acquire
treat them with respect
unless you wish
their friendship to expire.

Friendship has no target price, I love it. Thank you for sharing this wisdom.

You're absolutely right, David. Life is not about possessions and wealth (sure, they are nice) , but about friendships and happiness. There are alot of wealthy people in this world who are miserable and alone. Money can't buy love and respect (not genuine love and respect) . If people love you for your money, then you need to find other friends. Powerful message; Linda :)
