Stop Poem by Lilyann Monahan

Stop

You want me to stop smoking,
This is not about you.
I'll do it when I'm ready, and to me I will be true.

Amen. It's amazing how a democratic society permits special interest groups to gain traction and eventually win their way.....mostly due to the apathy and non-involvement of the targeted group/s. We are non-smokers, but we both support the rights of smokers to smoke....even allowing our friends who smoke to smoke in the house if they want to. (None ever do but they may go out in the garage, on the deck, the front porch or the patio.) Loved the poem - stick to your guns!
