See you fading away and the dark consumes
Too much upon one mind and all that assumes
All I wanted to touch you and know it’s real
And encapsulate this emotion that I now feel

Too much said and sometimes never enough
When life takes over and breathing is tough
The whips of circumstance cause me to break
And forgetting what it is we have so at stake

Want to wrapped myself around you and be
Just something of truth and hearts to be free
To love, to touch, to taste to see everything
No matter how I endure life’s endless sting

I feel arms around me of a devil in me again
Trying hard to break me and consume in pain
Yet I feel your impulse where in is my heart
As piece of you is within and playing its part

So damn far yet so close is my emotion for you
Can’t now be what I want myself to be for you
Need so to seek inside and find what I so am
Reach me with your touch as the newborn lamb

The gravity of time encompasses this emotion
Knowing in our arms we’ve found a salvation
Yet I can’t be close now it burns deep inside
I hear your song whispering and thought I cried

Wishing for something to take me to you now
Wanting to be so near right now and somehow
Touch your face with fingers of love and feel
The outline of your body wrapped and so to seal

Can’t be the hero all the time and I must see
That you’re the strength within us to be free
Just come to me now and can feel your embrace
Never leave and always stay, to see your face
