Star Poem by Jason Bakker

Star

Brighter days are brighter still
Your smile lights up the sky
Few days have I had my fill
It's always hard to say goodbye

Caged not can your spirit be
Your passion rules the land
Thy interests are akin to me
We'll prosper hand in hand

The strength of one is all you need
You've done it all your life
With beauty and grace you will succeed
A perfect woman, mother and wife

I've found many stars throughout my time
They have all but few burnt out
You could be my lucky dime
To sail on true and bright
