Somewhere Over The Rainbow Poem by jessica ng kai lun

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow,
there are angels dancing on the clouds
i'm like an ugly black crow
looking up at the angels and said, 'No doubt,
they won't treat me like others do.'
others treat me unfairly
i haven't got a clue
why i look so differently
Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
i see others cheat and lie
life is really bitter
they are all unkind and cruel
there's a land that i heard of
once in a lullaby
in that place, moths
change into butterflies, there, no one will ever die
somewhere over the rainbow,
skies are blue
i see baby deer and the mother doe
everything is peaceful, they really do
and the dreams you dare to dream
really do come true
things there may not be like you seem,
it is all magical, there are no rules
Some day I'll wish upon a star
to take me to the place
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
there, people will let me be what i want to be
