Somewhere In Between Poem by Scarlet .....

I no longer know where I stand
for I am not depressed
so I don't stand in total darkness
but I am not happy either
so I don't stand in the light
I have not yet reached that higher ground
but I am not longer in the dark land
I am somewhere in between
for I still chose darkness
over light
for that is just what I do
but it is not the same darkness as before
for yes I still bury things within me
but I now think differently
I don’t stress over what can't be fixed
I don't worry over things I can't control
I just think of everything as a riddle
and some riddles are never meant to be solved
