She’s Lost Control Poem by Melissa Koeman

She’s Lost Control

The look in her eyes shows it all
She’s lost control
She doesn’t know what to do
Or how to react
And how to get attention

She said I’ve lost control again
She didn’t know who she had become
It frightened her to death
She couldn’t pretend anymore
She smashed the mirror
And cried out loud I’ve lost control again
Her hands bleeding
Her eyes filled with rage and fear
Looking up at me
She collapsed to the ground
She’s lost control again
I thought she died…
She’d lost control again

When the darkness broke in
She broke down
And lost control again
Crying out for help yet again
But I couldn’t handle it anymore
Her moods got to much for me
I was sick of being fooled around
Sick of forgiving her
Sick of the way she treated me like dirt

I didn’t know what to say or what to do
I decided to walk away and let it all be
