Running Around Poem by Dennis Chaplygin

Running Around

I run around using my feet,

And I hear the sweet sound that they beat,

I am young you see,

So just let me be me!

With no care in the world I’ve been at it all day,

What can I say I got carried away,

And I fell and got tangled in my own fun world that I settled.

Now I am stuck,

And the sun is setting,

My brothers are somewhere waiting.

I only got one hope,

The Lord is my shepherd and I’m the lost sheep.
