The pain and hurt I feel won’t
seem to go away.
Time goes on and I don’t want
to see another day.
The love I have for you just stays
in my heart,
I cry about the day that we had to
part.

So Lord I’m crying to you,
please help me to get through,
the misery and sadness that I feel.
My love for him is real.

Day after day I try to figure what
went wrong,
As I lay in my bed and listen to
those sad love songs.
I wish I could go back in time,
at lease then you would still be mine.

So Lord I’m crying to you,
can you tell him that my love
was true.
So this broken heart of mind
could heal,
My love for him is real.
