Propinquity Poem by connie crane

Propinquity

Propinquity

I lay today in the loving embrace of propinquity.
The warmth of love long in the making,
Wrapped itself around me like a big loving blanket.
I did not know what propinquity was until today.
As my loved one held me in his arms we
Rediscovered together the meaning of the word.
In close proximity,
We found a kinship,
Similar in nature.
I know he loves me and I love him.
We are perfect for each other.
Each only needing the nearness of the other
To experience one blissful moment of propinquity.
