Only The Young Poem by Albert George Vinny

Only The Young

Rating: 1.9

'Only the Young'

Not much more of value, nor much more of worth..
And what of man and woman..
save for child and noble birth?
She need not be held up way up high
by all within the world,
she only need
a place to be
within a little girl.
She carries in her heart of hearts
their finest hopes and dreams..
The little boy would falter much
before her, as it seems...
They didn't know her value
but still hold her as the best..
This little girl beyond their reckon,
her perch be heavens nest.
