Negative

Have you ever been to Negative?
Have you seen such foolish pride?
Where peace and joy one seeks to give
Is lightly cast aside?

Did you find a smile was strange to him?
That gloom’s his faithful bride
His house while cold is sad and dim
As though someone had died

At this! He’d groan, at that; he’d cry
He seemed to moan at will
To light, he’s always rather shy
And to The Truth quite still

Instead of high, he’s dreadful low
Negative, night and day
Yet positive; when saying no
When yes; he ought to say

But how can change be brought to him?
That joy may dwell inside
Who can brighten what’s ever dim?
Just who can turn the tide?

Who can soften his heart of stone?
Who can dry his tears?
Who can stop his constant moan?
And take away those fears?

The bible says that no one can
Except Heaven above
Nothing on earth can change a man
But faith in Jesus’ love

The faith that Christ died once for all
His news to set man free!
The fact Christ rose that none should fall
But rise in victory ……..…
