Mood Indigo Poem by Pedro Cescon

Mood Indigo

It was when she caught my eyes,
I was forced out of myself,
Would be one of utmost lies
To say I was of some help,

Eyes of dark starry night,
And skin of chocolate tan,
A will of unparalleled bright,
Sassiness to add to her plan,

And when she arrived the place
Thought she would pull a U-turn,
But when she suddenly left
I wished she would return,

It is a nostalgic feeling,
Catching me all unaware,
As if having no ceiling,
Having only stars to stare

And when I feel that sorrow,
And I let a tear going down,
I skip all the hours till morrow,
Playing my harmonica around,

And when I start thinking of you,
Bearing thoughts quite brood,
I get feeling quite blue,
A deep Indigo Mood,
