Marigold Poem by jodde taylor

Marigold

Oh wondrous sun,
you melt me with your gazes
this light shinning
brings a day within a day
Oh how beauty runs away
with each thought of you
Your touch is a helpless
tomorrow
As I rise just to see you again
You bring every fascination
And beneath you, a burden,
is effortless
Oh the night, waves over me
gently the breeze kisses,
each rising star
How this evenings sight
pours over me
Your golden whistle,
I hear calling me
As I return to you again
The rain shall never sound the same....
