Lucky Man Poem by Ray Hansell

Lucky Man

Rating: 5.0

I hear her walking down the hall
She's headed straight for me
As she enters the bedroom
A beautiful woman is all I see

She gets in bed next to me
Than, gently holds my hand
Can someone please tell me
Could there be a more luckier man?

I turn her way to kiss her
Then whisper, good night
She looks at me and says, sweet dreams
I'll see you in the morning light

Soon we both drift off to sleep
With love in our hearts
Knowing that come tomorrow
Once again a brand new start
