Love Pollution Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Love Pollution

Rating: 5.0

Love kissed,
Ego killed.
When love flung it's arms around him,
Ego unlocked them to push them away.

When love didn't know what to do,
It just loved more and more.
But the ego's rigid affect,
Prohibited love to soar.

It broke love's wings,
The ego destroyer.
Never allowing others' happiness,
Never observing others' sadness.

So the ego, love's enemy,
Kept up it's work of polllution,
Never trying to seek even a solution.

With ego strong,
Where can love belong?
