Landlord Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Landlord

Rating: 3.5

His Highness my landlord is always at fury
I never know why he is in much worry
About what I his tenant do
May be he and his better half both are caught in a flu
Why this single woman is not leaving their room
At times wonder how they rush with their mouth as their broom
To pounce on me to pay in hard cash
In this market of demonetization
They exhibit their frustration
When I tell them to accept a cheque
No they won't, as income tax department would then start to check
All what they have accumulated
So I sigh at this lots.frustrated
Wish I forgive them always
To run my race
