Kyrie
The heart of man will faint in fear
where the earth in bondage lies
in agony he sheds a tear
'Have mercy on us God' he cries
'Tis the nature of his lot
where lust and greed seek wrongful gain
and parish every loving thought
'Have mercy God' he cries in pain
While we looking on behold
self righteous men their goal obtain
caring not who bears their load
'Have mercy God' we cry again.
