Just Like That Poem by K J

Just Like That

I was walking along the road,
Walking aimlessly alone,
Without a care about the world,
Then I bumped into you,
Just walking along the road aimlessly and then I met you,
I was entrapped by your eyes,
I stopped to look what held me there,
While walking I was just held there by your stare.

What I couldn’t say,
The world said it for me,
You have fallen in love my boy they said,
They said you have fallen in love on the first sight,
Your feet do not move, your heart flutters, they said
You have fallen in love, they said.

It became a love story,
My meeting you and my feet stopping as if in a trance,
I met somebody and I just couldn’t move along,
I did not know what happened,
I was stunned into silence,
Except my heart raced, up and down it went,
When I saw you while I was walking down the road,

I met somebody, just like that,
Walking along the road just like that,
I was waiting for something to happen,
All my life I waited for something to happen,
When it happened I shocked into silence,
Just like that, while I was walking along the road,
My vision just froze, the lights dimmed out around me,
As if a stage had been set and the lights focused on the actors,
I saw you in the focus, while I was walking along, just like that,
I fell in love with you, that very moment,
Walking along the road just like that,
I met you and knew you were the one, just like that,
While walking along aimlessly, I found you,
You entrapped me and you froze me, just like that.
Walking along the road, I fell in love, just like that.
