Inside Poem by Joanne Muscat

Inside

Inside myself I live,
But all alone.

As if I'm exiled
Far away from home.

Nothing disturbs the flow
Of such a rhythm.

It keeps going on
Alive and kicking.

Wow what a site
Like an eruption inside.

The heat like lava
Flows and fills the heart.

The rhythm of the verses
Fills the veins.

And finally comes out
As poem, prose or praise
Of such a living soul
and I'm alive!
