Insane Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Insane

Insane

I stand
As does cat in window
Fifth floor
My eyes roll
Want to jump
Part fear, part as goal
To fall and rid the walls
Yes here with caress also shout:
"Don't do so; not here and not now! "

But lentils in kitchen in the pot
(Water boils; it is hot)
Lentils wet; up climb

I'm alone
Thoughts fly to Ozone
Pass through dark clouds
The Big-Bangs Cyclical

Parvin comes to kitchen
She's poet, has poems
For crops, for garlic, onion

Then Saadi walks like fox
Then Khayyam, goblets, wine;
(His sextant Usturlab)
Then Hafez filled with Raz
Then Rumi; simply a needle
Then Attar

Come Pushkin, Shakespeare
Lermontov with others
Idioms in colors
In Persian and Greek and Latin
In Hindi, Mandarin
"Oh poems..."
I just think:
"You're insane..."
