In Your House Poem by Dedy Riyadi

In Your House

And if the house is worthy,
let your peace come upon it,
but if it is not worthy,
let your peace return to you.

(Matthew 10: 13)

Before entering your house,
he breaks the tongue down.

"Birds have tweets,
wolves have a whirlwind,
son of a man just have
a little warm greeting."

Your house is off the hilltop.
The way to your home is so climbing
and always hard.

From the open door of your house,
he sees you are busy working; sharpen
and modify words. Tapering a language.

"Come in. Have a sit. On the bench,
on the couch, or cross-legged like
you on the roadside stalls."

After away walking, and
an overnight praying,
he felt very drowsy.

Have not shut his eyes,
he heard you say,

"Are you still going to sleep
and rest? It's time to get ready.
See that the languages is easy
to submit to the Evil One.
And the betrayer is so close."
