If I could change your mind
And make you understand
That I am not after your money
Like most people do
I am just a simple man
With a big heart
I don't want to hurt you at all
You need money to live
You don't own a home
You live in a homeless shelter
Remember I am the one that brought you there
If it wasn't for me you would be dead by now
