I Won't Forget You Poem by ABRAHAM AMANING

I Won't Forget You

I won't forget you even if I lose my mind
I won't forget you even if life gives me lime
I won't betray you thou life is full of crime
There's no world if you aren't there with me in time
I won't forget you even if I lose my mind
With the sand of time entangled in your gaze
My heart and soul no more trapped in the maze
I won't forget you even if I lose my mind
The canaries sing the melodies of Apollo
But what would they mean to me if I can't hear your hello
Though we grow old, please don't blink
For between the grave and the womb lies a link
I won't forget you even if I lose my mind
I gonna hold on easy but won't let go
Search my soul and you will find neither pride nor ego
Girl, what else can I say to let you know?
If there existed a season for love that would be now
I won't forget you even if I lose my mind
You were born in the palace full of roses
And I by the river banks just like Moses
Between the line where the moon, sun and stars weep
That's where my heart, soul and breath always sleep
If there was anything mightier than the sword
Guess that would be these carefully written words
After all, I won't forget you even if I lose my mind
