I Want Out Poem by Samarah Essler

I Want Out

Rating: 4.0

I want out of this deep dark hole,
I'm going to try to get out that is my goal,
I'm sick of being locked up,
people keeping thinking so what,
if I don't get help,
I'm not going to be here much longer,
I'm trying hard,
I'm trying to be stronger,
I wish I was someone else,
I really do,
I hate myself,
but I got to deal with what life has given me,
so I'm going to try my hardest,
I'm going make you see.

This poem depicts great sadness and it makes the reader want to know if this is the pain of the writer or the writer's muse. Depression puts a hole in one's soul that can only be healed by one loving themselvis. We are in charge of our own destiny, we make all the decisions.
