I Walk Away Poem by Ibrar Siddiqi

I Walk Away

I walk away.
Day after day.
I walk down my leafy lane.
Watching my life go walking slowly by.
Days of smiling faces.
Loving someone, my heart races.

I see tears.
I run for the hills,
so that I could embrace my fears.
I walk away.

I was done wrong.
I know with you, we don't belong.
That's why I walk away.

Those who cause me grief, I never forgive.
Long as I live, that mistake I'll not repeat.
My patience badly beat.
I walk away, for good.
