Human Touch Poem by SinJace Ramos

Human Touch

Rating: 2.7

On the day you were born
A piece of my heart was torn
You took it with your first breath
As I held you to my breast
How was I to ever know
You would take the rest in tow
I didn't realize the cost
Until my heart was all but lost
We can only love so much
Before we lose the human touch
When will you ever return
What you took when you were born
