How Do You? Poem by MarieLove Brevil

How Do You?

Rating: 4.0

How do you tell someone that looks up to you
That your heart is broken, you’re fed up and
Just about ready to give in

How do you explain to the one you’re supposed
To love that you can’t even stand them
And they won’t be missed when they’re gone
That’s just about how much they’ve hurt you

How do you stay away from your own blood?
Thought that blood was thicker than water
So how did they get by and hurt you so much

How do you get through life without someone?
Hurting you or better yet, you hurting someone
Is there a way to get through life without having?
To be so hurt and bitter, and discombobulated

Just tell me, how you tell them about
Your aches, pains and sorrows
How do you tell them if they don’t seem to care?

How do you explain to them about someone?
Taking away your innocence as if you were to be a freak
With no experience, your violator had no concern
He wasn’t even afraid to hurt because he knew no one cared

How do you put out, or share such story while
You seem to be always, or mostly, happy and joyous
How do you explain that you’re hurt with a smile on your face?

How do you talk about your pain while
Your own blood doesn’t believe in you and that no one cares
How you tell them that you’re hurt and that
You were never able to be a recipient of happiness

How do you talk about your pain and sorrow?
When no one listens, no cares and that no one is concerned
Someone tell me how do you? How do you talk about violations?

How sad? How do you?
