Why do things happen the way they do?

Why do I act the way I do?

Angels are supposed to be blonde with blue eyes.
I think I found the only one with brown hair,
And brown eyes so deep I could drown in them.

I only knew you for 23 years,
That wasn't long enough.

Life conspired to take you from us;
