Heaven Can Wait Poem by Marc Robinson

Heaven Can Wait

Heaven can wait one more day,
Because I don't want to leave you yet.
Tell that Angel of Death that i'm gunna be late
And I dont care of the consequences,
I'm gunna be staying here for one more day.
I'm here now with you and I don't plan on going anywhere,
And if I miss my name when it gets called at the gates
And I am summonded to Hell
I'll take it for one more smile,
For one last kiss, One more hug.
Tell God that he's gunna have to keep his patience
As there's someone more important to see.
Tell him one day i'll be at his feet in Heaven,
But that day isn't today.
His patience can be tested,
Because one more day with you
Is worth an eternity of damnation.
And if tomorrow comes
Then i will break all the clocks in the world
So that day can never come
And we can spend today together forever.
