Have You Ever Wondered?
Have you ever wondered...
how it feels to be alone,
to wonder if you'll eat today
or where you'll have to roam?
Have you ever wondered...
how it feels to be afraid,
to know you can't cry out for help
because you can't be saved?
Have you ever wondered...
how it feels to cry at night,
to wonder if there is a God
and if He'll ever make things right?
Have you ever wondered...
how it feels to ache inside,
to know you can't find happiness
and there's nowhere left to hide?
So very intense and descriptive. I think everyone has had this kind of feeling at one point or another. I know I have. Thanks for putting such a touchy subject into words that do it justice.
Mary, this shows how most ppl feel. I my self have wondered many times. Thanks for understanding the feeling and putting it into a beautiful poem.
