Happy People Poem by Francis Duggan

Happy People

Happy people sow their seeds of happiness or so 'twould seem that way
The smiling face that greets you helps to brighten up your day
Their tiny seed of happiness to great happiness does grow
They are the type of people that all others wish to know
Like a magnet they attract others to them with them they have a winning way
A smile does not cost you anything for it you do not have to pay
If you look sad and sour faced others in silence will pass you by
For to be friendly to you they will not even try
We are to others what we seem those words to all apply
And those who seem to smile quite easily their friends do multiply
Sad looking and sour faced people are those none wish to know
The tiny seed that grows to happiness it is not theirs to sow
To smile to some is not easy though a smile does not cost a thing
So of every happy person the praises we should sing.
