Glorious Poem by T J Morgan

Glorious

Rating: 3.9

watching as they run defiantly across the plains
plumes of breath heralding their arrival
the earth pounding with the song of their hooves
necks arched proudly and tails flying wildly
turning as one, revelling in sheer abandonment
pleasure almost a visible form as it emanates from within them
dust clowd billowing and chasing
never quite reaching
but then, they are gone!
Suddenly and swiftly
the earth settles back, peace returns
nothing more than a memory now
oh! to be so wild and free
