Gloria Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Gloria

Two nations are in your womb and,
Two people will be separated from your body;
For your beauty is to your husband always.

Ishmayl became an archer and married a wife from Egypt,
But you are very loyal to your husband;
So be like the Tamarisk tree to satisfy him always.

Gloria, your love is like the cave of Kiryath Arba;
And you will enjoy the fruits of your toils all day long.
Rise and learn and arise to the love of your husband,
For we all need partners in this world.
