Free Ride Poem by Luz Hanaii

Free Ride

Rating: 5.0

It wasn't long...It wasn't fair!
That I realized that when I lay in bed
My whole world would turn around
When laying to the left

My head spin so fast...I feared the end.
The once welcomed ride and thrill of youth
My misery became.

I went along in my night ride
As a death row inmate would walk along
To meet his appointed time with Death.
No fee, no fun, not fair...

Please Dear Life, I don't want you to be upset
But wouldn't it make more sense
To pass my ride to those kids out there,
Playing round and round?

They would have some fun...
It would make more sense.

It is about a time when I had vertigo. Which I hated and remembered how much fun it was to go in circles get dizzy when I was young.
