Flinch Poem by reina Lorenzo

Flinch

5/13/05

must be your breath I’m steeling
you must be hurt cuz I saw you bleeding
but I do not care, I am not you
kneel down but I’m not that kind.

Must be your pulse I’ve framed up
And begging me to please give up
Swayin’ me but I’m unaffected.

You let me feel all these.

You told me just to hold on to my mask
But your love is not enough
And I’ve given everything I have.

When I needed you more,
You needed me less.

You let me feel all these
Yeah, you let me feel all these.
