Feelin' You Poem by john grover

Feelin' You

Feelin you has got my eyes feelin like it was love at first sight, but no, it was love at first word and I thought now, was this her, the one you'll give the world and promise to have with a lil' baby girl or the wife whom you'd vow to protect no matter how much her emotions seem to affect you and your life, the woman who'd give you strife, cause and effect, and I'd love to erect a wall that divides our love and hate and add more affection to our connection as a couple, then double that to create twice as much love than when our words first met, yet, however it felt as if we were giving each other our best as we test one another with every statement that we state without rest, I found myself to nest in my brain between slangs as she interrogates me with interrogative interrobangs, now as I pick the pedals off my imaginary rose in my head repeatedly saying 'she loves me' I guarantee shes doin the same about me, and ever since I heard that angel speak, I knew that we should be.
