Fallen Angels Poem by Regena Kilgore

Fallen Angels

Rating: 5.0

Babes are born into this world of sin,
they don't ask, we bring them in.
We try to keep them, clean as snow,
teach them Gods word, and hope it will show.

The enemy tempts them, leads them astray.
We fight this battle, day after day.
He tries to take them, with him - to his home,
But God says 'No, they belong near the throne.'
The enemy tries, but just can't win..
For he is -only- the father of sin.

God says 'These fallen angels, came from above,
they're gonna return..because of Jesus' love.'

I have read several of your poems and enjoyed them. I like simple poems from the heart and soul with a strong message. I love the poem Broken Bridges.
