Fallen Angel Poem by Samantha White

Fallen Angel

Fragile and broken like a piece of glass,
Haunted by the darkness of a tragic past.
This fallen angel is no longer free,
Her heart is captured by love you see.

O sweet darkness,
Hold me tight.
Protect me from hurt,
Shield me from light.

Angel of death please take me away,
No one seems to hear the words I say.
My screams are silent; no one hears,
Please take me away from all my fears.

O twisted silence,
and icy cold.
MY soul is now,
to the devil sold.

Slowly fading into a world of black,
slipping from this life to never come back.
Black tears fall from soft blue eyes;
Help me escape from all the lies.

O beautiful pain,
and broken heart.
Ignore my cries,
and tear me apart.

A fallen angel with shattered wings,
a broken girl of darkness sings.
Hated by many, loved by some,
the angel of death has finally come.

O delicate perfection,
for which I seek.
Is forever lost,
not a word I speak.
