Don'T Leave Poem by Debora Soramaki

Don'T Leave

It was a dream come true
To be on board the ship
I finally got to meet you
As I stood beside the table
I thought I heard your voice
Coming from behind me
So I turned around to see you
The moment surely came to be
My hand was touching yours
I can't believe it's you
My whole body started shaking
Sensation penetrated through
As I looked at your face
Happiness filled my heart
I'm hoping this will always be
A friendship from the very start
Then you had to return
To others, I believe
My very last words to you were,
' After the event ends, don't leave! '
