Desert Song Poem by Laurence Overmire

Desert Song

Rating: 5.0

Life is water
Slipping through your fingers

No way to hold or preserve
Drink what you can

While you can
Every drop-more precious

A thirst that cannot be
Quenched.

Drop your 'P's' but never your 'Q's' for questions need an answer. This has not affected the outcome of your write. In fact sometimes it's those little so-called imperfections that can make all the difference. You are a very tallented writer.Love Duncan
