Dancing In The Dark Poem by Alfred Ramos

Dancing In The Dark

I saw you dancing in the dark
The only light was a spark
From the fireflies dancing along
The midnight wind was your song
Who were you trying to mesmerize
With that black magic in your eyes
You swayed so provocative like I’ve never seen before
Is it a dream come true knocking at my door
I saw you dancing to the midnight sun
The twinkling of the stars had not yet begun
A gentle breeze blew through your hair
A smirk on your face as if you didn’t care
Who were you trying to tantalize
Are you a devil woman in disguise?
Your moves were smooth as china silk
Like cream rising in fresh milk
Your skin glistened in the full moon light
A radiant glow ready to ignite
All the desires of a man
That fit right into your plan
Your moves soothe me to no end
I’m in dire straits that I can’t expend
Could you do that to me on a lark?
Just because I saw you dancing in the dark
