Cry Tomorrow Poem by Gloria Garrion

Cry Tomorrow

I'll smile today, hold back the tears,
although my heart is breaking.
No one must know because of you,
my very soul is aching. I'll laugh today, oh yes pretend,
and try hard, not to remember,
the love we shared was all so new,
Tis now like dying embers. I'll sing today, in spite of all,
and try not think of you
which only brings sad memories,
for your love was so untrue although my heart is racked with pain,
because of all life's sorrows
Today, I'll hold back all my tears
I'll wait...
and cry tomorrow...
