Cry To Me Poem by Amy Stuart

Cry To Me

Cry to me all your complaints,
I can see your life isn't great.
I will listen when you are down,
When you're sad and have a frown.

But after listening I know now,
That I'll still be screwed over somehow.
I could tell you one thing about me,
And for you'll silence I'd have to plea!

But I know you'd just say that you care,
That you want me to keep breathing air.
So you'd turn me in without hesitation,
You're just trying to be my salvation.

And I'll still love you no matter what,
That would be why I deepen my cut.
So go ahead and tell me all about your life,
And I guess I'll have to use my knife.
