Crashing Down Poem by Tessa Monaghan

Crashing Down

All at once things crash down,
Head and heart every pound.
One day of happiness, quickly turns
into something that fiercely burns.
Siring pains through heart and head,
With every word that they said.
All at once my world crumbles,
And everything tumbles.
From head to toe,
Falling down I must go.
Broken hearts all around,
Sobs and weeping, the only sound.
Tears run down my hot cheeks
My eyes must have some kind of leak.
Despair and betrayal fill my mind,
Still trying to search and find
The one they use to be,
The way they thought of me.
Hearts are breaking,
Hearts are tearing.
Eyes are crying.
Chest is pounding.
Body is shaking.

Pain has been inflicted on me,
Then I without a say,
Causes inflictions to be,
In all different ways.
I have been hurt,
Then I hurt others.
Making me lower than dirt,
Wondering why I even bother.
A bad week can only get worse,
I may have a break here and there
Some fun and happiness
Once that ends the rest I can’t bear,
Changes everything to sadness.

All at once things crash down,
Head and heart every pound
One day of happiness, quickly turns
Into something that fiercely burns.
Siring pains through heart and head,
With every word that they said,
All at once my world crumbles,
And everything tumbles.
From head to toe,
Falling I must go.
